Kenton was born and raised in Minnesota, mainly in Robbinsdale and Brooklyn Park. He spent summers at his grandmother’s place on Twin Lake, hunting down painted turtles, fishing and swimming (the lake wasn’t green back then).
Jamie bought a house at 19 years old. “I bought a beat-up old house in Robbinsdale and remodeled it from top to bottom,” he says. “That was when I realized my love for real estate.”
At 22, Jamie was a loan officer (and later the branch manager) for a mortgage company. He enjoyed working with people to find the money to purchase a home, but his heart was set on helping them to actually find and sell homes. So, nine years ago, he made the jump and has never looked back. KLRE feels blessed to have him on board.
When he’s not assisting Twin Cities’ residents with buying and selling homes, Kenton spends time with his family. “I have a 2 year-old little princess who thinks she runs the house and has a lot to say about it (that may be my fault), and a 5 year-old son who loves helping me around the yard. He wakes up in the morning ready to go outside,” he said, chuckling.
Jamie’s love of family time extends to his siblings as well. “I have two brothers and three sisters,” he begins. “We hang out all the time. Summer BBQ's are our thing, yard games and lounging in the yard. My family is AWESOME.”
But there is one member of the family Jamie seems to be a bit partial to: Mrs. Kenton. “I wouldn’t be the person I am today without my wife . . . my rock!”
We asked Jamie Kenton what he likes most about his real estate career. “I love watching my clients light up when I find them the house. The excitement is so contagious! I mean, I actually get to help people fulfill their dreams. What a rewarding job!

We are moving out of state. Thought about selling our home ourselves. We heard about the Guarantee Offer program and reached out to the Kris Lindahl team. Josh MacDonald was the agent that came to meet with us in our home and explain our options. He was personable and professional. He explained the Guarantee Offer program and also explained that we had many options and levels of service that we could get by listing our home with him. We were very pleased that he had a free cancellation policy. We felt we had nothing to lose by engaging him as our agent. We could still try to sell our selves, or rent out our home, etc. if we did not get an offer that we wanted, or if we changed our minds for any reason. Thanks Josh!

I love my home!!!! After months with a realtor and not getting the attention I needed to buy my 1st home. Donna and I just briefly talked about my experience and she showed me a house and it was a done deal from there. Since Donna took over as my realtor it was like night and day. Any think I needed she was there. It did take time to find my forever home, but Donna was so patient and she fought side by side with me day by day to make sure I get what I wanted. I can’t explain how happy I am with my forever home and how happy I am she came into my life when she did. Thank you Donna Dahl for all that you did for me.

We recently bought our first home and the experience was amazing. We called Kris Lindahl Real Estate after working with two other brokers. The level of service and expertise was unmatched.
